Eric has spent over 20 years in the development of large-scale power and energy projects globally.  He has expertise in evaluating, developing, and optimizing systems of energy and power assets in order to maximize the overall efficiency, environmental footprint, and operating profit.  Eric established Audax Global Energy, LLC in 2019 as an advisory and consulting company.  Initially focusing on flare gas reduction and monetization, the business has expanded into equipment and services offerings, power generator set sales and rental, and broader energy advisory services that support the transition toward a Net Zero future. 

Eric founded Avani Clean Energy, LLC in 2019, and was a co-founder and executive of Power-On-Demand, LLC starting 2020.  Eric serves as a member of the Board of Advisors for OFS, a Dublin-based company providing rotating equipment, balance of plant and process services to the oil, gas, power generation and energy industries worldwide.  Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, he served in a variety of leadership roles at publicly traded companies including Siemens AG, and Solar Turbines, Inc. after holding positions of increasing responsibility in Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales and Service.  He has lived and worked in both Europe and Asia. In his role at Siemens, he was part of the integration team that brought together the industrial Rolls Royce Gas Turbines and Dresser-Rand into Siemens.  He led the market growth of the expanded product and solution portfolio as Vice President of North and South America, with global responsibility for the FPSO market segment. 

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California San Diego, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Miami.  He resides in the Houston area, with his wife and daughters, and enjoys running, wine and world travel.
